Caran Rothchild is a Shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office of Greenberg Traurig, P.A., a law firm considered among the largest in the U.S. with more than 2,750 attorneys in 47 locations. For over 20 years, Caran has focused her practice on employment and commercial litigation matters. Her representations include corporations, municipalities, and individuals in a variety of employment, complex commercial, and civil related issues. As an employment advisor and litigator, Caran has represented local and national clients in numerous jury and non-jury trials and administrative proceedings involving, among other things, discrimination, harassment, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour issues. Caran is listed among The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation in 2024.

Caran is also the Pro Bono Coordinator for the Fort Lauderdale office of Greenberg Traurig, P.A., in recognition and furtherance of her duty to serve her communities, and because she is particularly committed to the principle that all persons are entitled to equal access to justice. The impoverished are often the least able to navigate the complexities of legal relationships, and their inability to afford legal services frequently results in the loss of personal and economic security for themselves and their families. As such, in addition to personally engaging in pro bono representations, Caran coordinates, facilitates and participates in various organized pro bono projects in cooperation with her colleagues in the firm, the local, state and national bar associations, and others.
